Book Spine Poetry

Last year, LibraryThing organized a Book Spine Poetry Contest.

I really like William Blake and Audreay Niffeneger’s Her Fearful Symmetry… So I tried to use this title!

Here was my entry:

The Queen of the damned, dead moon lacing glamour
In a glass darkly, the witching hour
The portrait of a lady
Fated her fearful symmetry

William Blake:

Tiger, tiger, burning bright

In the forests of the night,

What immortal hand or eye

Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

The Queen of the Damned, Anne Rice
Dead Moon, Luis Royo
Lacing Glamour, Bibian Blue
In a Glass Darkly, Sheridan Le Fanu
The Witching Hour, Anne Rice
The portrait of a Lady, Henry James
Fated, Benedict Jacka
Her Fearful Symmetry, Audrey Niffenegger
